Night League is a classic hard rock and heavy metal inspired duo from Norway with Marita Sundet Solheim on lead vocals and bass and Trygve Johan Solheim on lead vocals, lead guitar and additional instruments.
Main inspiration for their sound and style is from the 70s and early 80s, and their goal is to take you back to the era when bands like Iron Maiden and Samson ruled the scene. 
Inspired by, but not limited to NOWBHM, Night League will take the raw and unpolished style from many cult bands and albums that came to be in the period of 1975 - 1982. 
Night League is an unique duo with both male and female vocals, since both TJ and Marita are vocalists from other bands and projects like "Grimskull" and "Marita". 

"Our voices have always mashed well when doing backing vocals for each other's projects, and I think it's cool that we both can share the mic in this band, giving the music an extra edge and bringing something new to the scene," says Marita. 

"We've always worked well togther when it comes to making music. When we put our two minds together we come up with so much material, we kinda need a third outlet for it all," says TJ. 

"Absolutely, no rest for the wicked! Our minds are always creative storms filled with a million ideas and vibes, taking us on musical endeavours wherever they might blow. And right now they blew us back to England in the mid 70s. It's one of our favorite eras, so why shouldn't we pay homage to this scene?" Marita asks with a smile.

"I still haven't heard many nailing the old school metal sound. Most bands are only inspired by the style, but gives their own music a too new production. We're inspired by, and to actually sound like, the grit-like productions back in the heydays of Samson and Maiden. If we sound too new, we're doing it wrong!" TJ laughs. 

"We're gonna try to keep this project simple and fun, but if I know us right, the word "simple" is a loose term, the fun on the other hand... We can't keep a straight face in the studio," both laughing at this statement.
